There are sports and recreational facilities throughout Astoria, but the green jewel is nearby Astoria Park. A 66 acre park at the edge of the East River, it features outdoor tennis courts, a track, multiple trails, basketball courts, playgrounds, and of course the beautiful swimming pool (New York’s largest outdoor pool).
